Silverdale Orewa Toastmasters
EVERY OTHER THURSDAY 7.30 – 9.30pm Visitors are always welcome. Come and have fun as you improve your communication, public speaking, self-confidence and leadership skills. Toastmasters has a “learn-by-doing” philosophy, wherein each member learns at their own pace. Toastmasters builds confidence through speaking in public in a friendly, fun and supportive atmosphere.
Yarnteeze
EVERY TUESDAY 10am - 11.30am We knit & yarn and create warmth with love. We knit Blankets, Beanies, Slippers, Scarves, Kids toys and they are distributed in our local Area. Local Recipents are Love Soup who pass on to the homeless, Woven Earth, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren etc. Plus we have an Evening meeting once a month for members who work by enjoying Dinner at a local Restaurant.
