Orewa Beach Sandcastle Competition

The 10th annual Sandcastle competition and sand sculpture begins this week.
15 tonnes of sand – thanks to Wyatt Landscapes will be delivered to Moana Reserve on Monday 4th March and the 5 day long sculpting of the mammoth masterpiece will commence that afternoon. Thanks to Ashely and Annette from In Good Form.
Saturday 9 March
11.30pm registration opens. 50 entries only.
12pm Building starts
2.30pm Prizegiving

It’s FREE to enter and its open to everyone from bucket and spade novices, through to experienced sculptors. Or just come along for a look to see the creations morphing into works of art.
There’s cash prizes for the experienced team and novice team.
