Calling all teenagers, uni students, parents and adults who are wanting to make a difference this summer – now’s your chance to become a Surf Lifeguard with the amazing Ōrewa Life Saving Club team who are dedicated to keeping our beach safe.

If you’re not quite as confident in the water, you can still be an important part of the team by becoming a Patrol Support which excludes the in-water element.

Prerequisites to join:

Be at least 14 years of age

Be able to swim 400m in 9 minutes or less
