As the eye and ears of the Orewa community, I wanted to let you know about an upcoming community engagement in Orewa on the 3^rd of December at the Orewa Scouts Hall, located at Arundel Reserve, 467 Hibiscus Coast Highway, Orewa 0931.

The purpose of this community event is to discuss the Pākiri to Mathesons Bay, Ti Point to Sandspit, Snells Beach to Ōrewa Shoreline Adaptation Plan, with specific reference to the Orewa coastline and the DRAFT coastal adaptation strategies proposed based off coastal hazard risk and the location of Council owned land and assets.

Whilst I note some of you have already provided feedback via submissions, as key contacts in the Orewa community, I hope you may be able to join us on the 3rd December, noting that we are planning on running a presentation, Q/A and feedback sessions with attendees (in case there is anything else you would like to provide feedback on).
