The inaugural Orewa Beach Fun Run on 13 December 2025 includes a 2.5km or 5km run/walk along the stunning Orewa Beach.
Based from the Orewa Surf Lifesaving Club, the courses are set entirely on the sand at low tide – no roads, no footpaths, just fresh sea air and beautiful views.

100% of proceeds go to Orewa College’s new Fitness Centre.

• Held on the beautiful Orewa Beach, Hibiscus Coast, Auckland – no roads to cross, the event is held at low tide so we have plenty of beach to enjoy.
• Start time: 9AM – 45 minutes after low tide
• Registrations open at 7 am at the marquee on the reserve near the Surf Club
• All entrants must register to take part – race bibs are required to be worn throughout the event, this also holds your timing chip to register your finish time.
